At the end of the day it was only a friendly! We achieved second in the group and in the end where unlucky to draw Holland. He has tried new players in friendlies and thats the time to do it.He still has to be given time as he inhertied a bunch of players with no international experience and has since blooded youngsters as Fletcher,McFadden and Pearson.Lets see what happens in the qualifiers and take it from there. I would say though, its time for Gallagher or Alexander to get a chance in goals. The 2 up and coming friendlies are the best time to see what they can do!

We are still undefeated at Hampden, and have done probably better in the Euro qualifiers than we all thought. When Berti came he asked us to judge him on wcq campaign, so lets give the man the time he asked for ,and not follow the lead of the tabliod press and there kneejerk reaction
SUPPORT THE MAN AND OUR TEAM

I think the Romania game is now so important for Berti that there will be no experimenting as a win is now a must !! He must put his strongest team out and I have a funny feeling every one will pull together and get the result that Berti badly needs.

Can't really believe some of the stuff on here, but there you go. I've defended Berti in the past but it's getting impossible to continue to do so. Anyway my point is that all these polls and calls for Strachan etc are irrelevant as the wee man has made it crystal clear he ain't going. Is it also not the case that the SFA are so rooked that they can't afford the compen they would have to pay out if they sacked him? Therefore all this soul searching is a waste of time. We're stuck with him till 2006! One other point - isn't Tommy Burns due some of the flak. I speak as a Celtic fan who has a lot of time for Tommy, but I really don't think Berti has been helped by having a man who was undoubtedly one of the most tactically naive managers I've seen, alongside him.

THIS GERMAN JOKER REALLY IS THE LIMIT. I SEE HES GIVEN US ALL A SQUAD NO. NOW. DOES THIS CLOWN REALLY THINK HE CAN MAKE HIS SCOTLAND PAYDAY LAST LONGER BY PATRONISING THE TARTAN ARMY? ALTHOUGH IF THIS NONSENSE HAS COME ABOUT AS A RESULT OF HIS MEETING WITH SOME OF THE SNIVELING CLOWNS ON ATAC THEN MAYBE HES GOT SOMETHING GET REAL BERTI, BETTER STILL GET OUT!

JP,
Why do you call the ATAC reps "snivelling clowns"
Both myself and Hamish Husband have represented WESTA at these meetings and I am mystified at your aggressive posting.
Feel free to e-mail me privately if you so desire
