Westa committee always on the ball have heard a rumour that the Rumanian manager has picked a squad for the forthcoming friendly with no goalies!
Seemingly strapped for cash the association could not afford goalie gloves. They had 2 options.
Buy gloves in the likliehood that if they kept the receipt they would return from the game unused, clean and get a full refund.
Reduce the squad by 3 goalies and save on wages.
