This is a brand new U21 team with the expection of McCunnie,Dowie, O'Conner and Wilson. The game last night was a friendly and while I admit it was not the best of performances there is still plenty to take forward.
Fotheringham was very willing and able on the ball and Beattie showed a great deal of effort albiet without too much success. Mark Wilson had an excellent first half at right wing back and Andy Dowie was very good at the back, clearly a full season on loan at Brechin has done him good.
Dont write them off yet as Bonhof needs a couple of games to mould his new team.

We can agree with you on the new squad etc. but surely it is time to ask the team to pass the ball to a man not behind him, show a bit of interest and enthousiasm in the game and compete for the basll. I must also say that it was a friendly and there was no need whatsoever for dirty tackles and wasting time. Friendlies should be a spectacle for the fans not an opportunity for trainers and ambulance men showing their efficiency

Its fair to say that the game was not played in a good spirit and neither for that matter was the full game on wednesday.
Thats a terrible injury Kennedy has got from the over the ball tackle by Ganea and he will now be out of the game for a year or so.
