Excellent attendance at our February meeting, with around 50 members coming along to The Iron Horse.
A good meeting with relevant information being exchanged and an interesting Q & A session with Jackie McNamara Snr. Jackie's thoughts on the game today were thought provoking and the questions being asked by members highlighted this.
Of particular interest was Jackie's activities with the Players Union and some of the issues facing the professionals with clubs outside "The Big Two". I thought his dictionary description of the "entrepreneurs" in the game was hilarious.
