Davie
Its on Sunday the 26th. I believe that the AGM starts at about 6.30 according to Frodo and the Burns night follows.
By the way, I am about to order the WESTA calling Cards so I will bring them to the AGM if ready and distribute them then.
Cheers Mark

Happy New Year from the 'Shire!!! Hope your are all well and still suffering from the Hogmanay bevvy? First time I've been back on the forum since the Two Towers carry on but just to confirm, via my fellow Hobbit, that it is a 6.30pm kick off on Sunday for the AGM. Following this the Burns Nicht' starts about the 7.30pm mark. I'll need to un-crumple the kilt as its been lying in a heap since Ne'erday. I'm sure someone from the 'committee' will give us an agenda before the night but I'm sure we can guess the main part for ourselves - drink! Frodo. ps - my ring's killing me

Letters have been sent out over the past week with details. AGM is 6.30pm PROMPT on Sunday, 26 January, in the basement of The Iron Horse. Burns Night follows thereafter at 7.45 pm upstairs at the usual venue. Hamish has confirmed Tennent's will sponsor the event. I will update in the next few days as to the full programme of events. New members will be most welcome, provided they pay next years membership of 12 quid!

Couldn't have put it better myself!!
Speeches were a great success, Celtic Connections afterwards was 'a bit bizarre' but it just added to the night. Excellent.

FInally managed to figure how to use this computer so may I take this opportunity to thank all concerned for a thoroughly wonderful occasion on Sunday night. The Celtic Connections thingy was a bonus.Am now back home on a diet of Humble pie as the wifey one had the misconception that it was only a 1 night pilgrimage to God's Own Country( probably due to the fact I didn't say that it was a 2 nighter).Well I've had to eat Humble pie for a while after every trip so it's usually downed with a Chinese.Special thanks to all the speechmakers and Tommy Madden was an absolute joy.See you all on the 12th
