I thought that the Shed was an outstanding success. Everyone I spoke to enjoyed themselves and the pre match atmosphere was great.
Only downside was the price of the bevvy.

Totally agree!!
I thought The Shed was a perfect venue. We all have to make our way over to the South side for the game anyway so it was no hassle being out of the town centre.
I believe the price of drink was a problem but hopefully if we were to go there again this would be taken into account.
I spoke with lots of people from other TA groups on the day who were raving about the atmosphere.
All that is required is a large space, music and bevvy - we'll make it a great day, we always do.
Big vote of thanks for Tam is required. As much as I hate to admit it, a great job done!!

The pre match party was superb.
Everyone was "up for it", it was great to have so many people who knew one another in the same place - and whilst it was busy, the q's at the bar were acceptable and the venue allowed people to mingle move around and even "dance" although the quality of that was dodgy!
Definately one for the future and fully agree with you Janis, big shout to Tam, well done mate.

Couldn't agree more. Tam sorted me an extra ticket for a mate and they also agreed it was excellent. Perhaps a negotiation on the price of bevy could be arranged as I'm sure the owners were well pleased with the outcome both from a financial angle and probably the 1st time the security guys got paid for sorting out no trouble.Wonder what the wages bill for the security guys was?

The Shed had enough bouncers for a normal club night as I guess they had no experience of a TA party. But fair play to them they had a laugh and a joke with the fans and did there job well.
The Iron Horse Muppet bouncers could learn a lot.

I think that's being a bit disrespectful to muppets.Myself and Jimmy Black were refused entry and only a nifty bit of side-stepping got us in at all.Apparently being a member of WESTA means jack s**t to the jobsworths on the door. I don't think a ticketing policy would work as too many head back after the match and some stay downstairs for a while waiting for it to quieten down a bit upstairs.Something needs sorting out though

Definetly, I will be giving the Iron Horse a body swerve at the next home game as the antics of these wankers nearly ruined a great day.

The Shed wasa complete success as far as our mob was concerned, bit pricey but what the hell, we've drank in Sweden, Iceland etc and coped, 2 and a bit hours in The Shed won't break the bank. Saw a staff member mopping up a large pool of freshly laid vomit from the stairs at about 11.30 a.m... welcome to a TA do.
