6,000 tickets we've been allocated out of 67,000 capacity. I think the Germans are a bit concerned about us being something of a 12th man after the Hampden match. Apparently yet another ballot is in store for us, but I would expect that the regulars will be catered for, hopefully. A bit mean of them considering we gave them some 7,000 tickets for Hampden out of 52,000 capacity.

During my lunch break today, I worked this out with my mate. 1,000 (give or take a few hundred) went to the Fareos.....3,000 went to Iceland and 4,000 went to Lithuania. I'd say round about 80-90% of the people who went to the Faroes will have gone to the other 2 games.......so they will be garenteed a ticket. Thats about 1,000 tickets away already. Anyone who went to Fareos/Iceland.... Fareos/Lithuania.... Iceland/Lithuania will be second in line for a ticket....and I think that will be in the 3,000 region. So 4,000 away..... 2,000 to go to the rest and to think we took 15,000 to Belgium. my mates said I was stupid for going to the Faroes and Lithuania, aswell as going to Norway in August....but who is laughing now ;D A way of getting tickets should it come to it though.....go on the German FA website and get tickets in the German end.....I know they will not send ANY tickets to non-German addresses.....but all you need to do is contact the German TA or if you have any family/freinds out there, get them sent to their address.

My sources tell me that SFA's security advisor isn't due to visit Dortmund till next month. This guy has a pretty good track record of blagging extra tickets out of other Associations so I don't think anyone need panic about tickets just yet.

Well based on those calculations I seem to have everything going for me, been to all of the matches referred to and a few more besides....and I think it's amazing that you guys haven't caught on to the fact that I work in GERMANY !!! I fly out here and back home again every week.....Now just how many tickets were we looking for....not that I would ever suggest buying tickets for the wrong end of the ground through the guys who work beside me....there is also GERTA the German Tartan Army, they may be three men and a dug but we are all TA -also despite them being spread all over the world there are still a lot of squaddies on the Rhine. Now Willie at the SFA will be aware of all of these options to purchase tickets and will use this as an argument for some more...he'll never get enough, but those who deserve one should get one and those who don't - well there are plenty of alternative means...if you catch my drift

Re - Ally MacLeod presentation
This was organised through discussion on the Tartan Army Message Board, a collection was taken up, mostly done in Pandoras before the Germany match.
A decanter set was purchased and will be presented to Ally at Hampden next week.
The press have not been notified about this as "publicity seeking" was not on the agenda. they have only read the details that are posted on the message board.
If you require any info, give me a shout
cheers
Mick

Scotland have been given another 1000 or so tickets for the away game. I wonder if this is because of the number of tickets being bought over the internet.

One of our party has missed out on a ticket in the ballot - anyone got any ideas. Internet avenue via German FA website seems to have been closed off.

The tickets I had got hold of in Germany are long gone.
There were some doing the rounds on E bay, you'll pay over the odds but that'll be up to your mate.
