Yes magnificent acheivements , however these pale into comparison with Meister Broon's acheivements in keeping Der Windbag , Hamish down to a funf minute speech. Wunderbar!

I played against all the greats but the best pint I ever had was in a small boozer in Bath Street after we lost to Glasgow Rangers in the '72 Cup Winners Cup semi final. Gerd Muller phoned me the other day and asked me to get the name as he will be in Glasgow next year for UEFA final. Can anybody help with the name of a wunderbar pub? I t might have been West Nile Street!

Plenty of good pubs in Glasgow. if its trendy but smart try up the West End. Ther's a new german pub near the People's Palace.

I really liked Der Tommy Hutchison who played against us. He was a wunderbar dribbler. He played for many teams in Englerlund, nicht wahr? We in Deutschland are often asking what happened to der famous Scottish dribblers?
Big jim Holton played against us in the 1 - 1 draw in'73. '6'2 and eyes of blue , big Jim Holton is after you.' - What a good sing song that was!

Der beruhmte Wee Willie Henderson , he was a cracker! Wolfsburg tried to buy him 4 years ago until we found out he was 56 years old. At 4 million Euros it was too much. Did he sign for Partick Thistle?
