Seen as the next meeting isnt until late january could you let us know if anything is being planned travel wise for the event? I understand it is a bit early but could someone post on here when they find out.
If there is transport put on would they phone members to let them know?

There is a committee meeting planned for early next week. It will be discussed and I or Greg will post details of any proposal. It may be too short notice for the booking etc without knowing accurate numbers.

Demand for a bus would be difficult to gauge but a bus could be filled I'm sure. 2 day trip? 3 day trip? This is where we have a problem! Can we speak to friends and get names. A report will come from committee meeting on Monday. By the way I spoke to Allison today and she was delighted at the reception she got at the POTY. It helped that she won an award. Lads its worth sending her, and the Travel Club Dept a xmas card.

If its just a case of driving down in the morning, spending the night and coming back up I will go.I will probably go if it's a 2 day trip, but any longer and I will probably go the train or something.Hopefully there will be enough interest.
PS.Steaky is Yogi going?

I would propose a bus leaving the Horse at about 6 AM (with a chemical toilet) on the Wednesday and either staying in hotels to be booked independently or traveling back through the night.
Any other thoughts?

What about leaving on the Tuesday evening, stopping half way, Wed night in Cardiff and back Thursday.

AS THERE IS AN UNDER 21 GAME ON THE TUESDAY;WHAT ABOUT LEAVING THAT MORNING EARLY DOORS SO THAT PEOPLE WANTING TO SEE THE GAME CAN BE ACCOMODATED; AND STAY 2 NIGHTS IN WALES;RETURNING HOME ON THE THURSDAY. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE UNDER 21 GAME IS BEING PLAYED OR THE KICK OFF TIME.

Hey Sonny, has the leopard changed it's spots or is someone coming in using your name.
You used to hate the under 21 games - preferring to spend that evening in a "local bar" - Have Bonhofs Babes, who are playing some decent football, managed to convert you.
I won't be able to do to the U21's, my flight in from Germany on the Tuesday night will arrive too late in Bristol and I have to get down from there. I have got a hotel booked though.

I would probably be interested in going on the bus.
Going down on Wednesday morning sounds OK with me but I wouldn't have any problems if it were leaving on Tuesday
As usual it looks like I'll be the only one going so a seat for 1 please.

I'd go down on the Tueday or the Wednesday, but would prefer travelling there early doors on the Wednesday to cut some costs.I'm not a big fan of stopping half way.
