Whatever happened to that flag ?

It really is quite sad some of the strange things that pop into your head at the strangest times (well my head anyway).

There must be someone out there with the answer. Years ago a wonderful flag was produced and taken on many TA trips. A large saltire with full colour thistle in the centre and Partick Thistle emblazoned upon it, if I remember rightly it cost a few bob and a number of folk contributed. I cannot remember when I last seen it...can any one remember it or do they know where it has gone. OR for the comedians out there, I've lined it up the rest is up to you.

I have it!! It has been at the back of a cupboard in our house for years.

I think it was last seen out in public at the Estonia game in Monaco 1997.

If you have a burning desire to have the flag, I can arrange to bring it to Firhill on Saturday if you'll be there.

Me and flag carrying on trips don't go together!!

It's alright I have no burning desire to acquire the flag, I was just really curious as to where it had gone.

I was sitting watching a German match on TV last night round in my hotel and found myself reading the flags behind the goal (and people think International travel is exciting) this got me thinking about the flag....bet you cannot answer this one though....a wooden painted shield accompanied us on many a trip.it had on it Partick Thistle Supporters International Section.....What happened to that, is that in your cupboard ?? or does anyone know where that is?

I nicked the shield years ago....unfortunately it wouldn`t burn for some reason........
