Well our next "adventure" is fast approaching, with a return journey to Tallinn.
A number of us have of course enjoyed the delights of the city before and I am particularly interested to see how it has changed.
Did you know a group of WESTA members and a few others travelled to Estonia by mini bus!!! Leaving Scotland we travelled through England, ferry to France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, ferry to Denmark, ferry to Sweden and then Ferry to Estonia and of course return. Overnighting in Hamburg and Jonkopping (Sweden). As one of the two drivers, I can tell you we were knackered.
There are many tales from that epic journey but in true TA manner - What happens away Stays away
Having witnessed Estonia in it's Soviet climate, then move fully to independance. I wonder how commercial the Old Town has become in the last couple of years and of course it's now in the EU.
Which other WESTA troops will be travelling over?

JP, I do hope that you are on the wind up.
Having followed the team for many years I have seldom come across such an attitude. Whatever your views are on the manager (and they are quite clear) you should never allow this to impinge on the support for the team and country.
I have gone to many a game expecting to get beaten - but never wished for it. In the event of results not going the way we want, then serious questions should of course be asked and the consequences faced.
Again we enter this "friendly" match under strength but we will have number of players who will relish this opportunity GET BEHIND THEM !!!

By the look of the highlights we could have scored a few tonight.
Miller should have had 1 and maybe 2. 3 if McFadden had squared his first effort.
Faddy could have had another 1 or 2.
Fletcher really unlucky with his shot.
Richard Hughes - What a miss, enough said! (had a pretty good game though).
Gary Caldwell's header looked like it was going in all the way.
On the whole it looked a marked improvement.

I WAS AT EASTER ROAD ON SUNDAY SUPPORTING THE TEAM BUT I DRAW THE LINE AT 'BERTI BERTI GIVE US A WAVE'. SOME OF THE TARTAN ARMY ARE GUILTY OF BLIND LOYALTY AND BERTI HAS DONE NOTHING TO DESREVE THE SUPPORT HE GETS. I THOUGHT A DEFEAT IN TALLIN MIGHT SAVE US FROM WORLD CUP DISASTER AND ONLY HAVE THE TEAMS BEST HOPES AT HEART. BERTI SHOULD GO AND TWO WINS OVER ESTONIA RESERVES AND A CARIBEAN PUB TEAM HAVENT CHANGED MY MIND. I WILL HOWEVER BE AT HAMPDEN FOR THE NEXT 3 GAMES SINGING FOR THE TEAM- NOT HIM. SO PLEASE NO MORE PRAISE FORE BERTI TILL HES EARND IT. IF HE DOES ILL BE FIRST TO HOLD MY HANDS UP.

JP... so you were at Easter Road supporting the team were you? Whats up?, have you now binned Estonia because they lost to Scotland? If you dont agree with the songs, you dont join in. Everyone is entitled to thier own thoughts and if the fans want to sing for Bertie to wave, then thats up to them. No-one is kidded that we have turned the corner yet, but it is nice to see a couple of wins and some goals being scored. There is nothing like a bit of confidence and that is what these games were arranged for. Keep getting behind the team and forget some of the nonsense from your initial posting.
