Surprised to see McCann back in, didnt think that he had been playing at Saints.
Has Stevie Thompson actually started a game this season? Lee Miller would have been a better bet I reckon.
Surely its time for BobThe Builder to go? Derek Stillie or Alan Combe are playing far more consistently and I doubt that David Marshall will be playing between now and September.
Lee McCulloch may pull out as he has still to start a game due to injury, where as Richard Hughes has started every game at Pompey I believe.

Why oh why Alexander and O'Neil ?? Ian Murray would be better than Alexander and Hughes than O'Neil. The less said about big Rab the better !! and I agree with your comment on Thompson !

Agree about McCann and Alexander, who'd a shocker in Austria. But Thommo came on and scored for us in Moldova so I'm happy to see him in the squad. I don't remember him having a bad game in a Scotland shirt.
Don't think he has started a game this season but he's always useful when he gets on the pitch.

No Severin again? I think that's a mistake. The brickie has to go - either Essen or Combe would be a better bet. Obviously playing every week for your club is not a must for Wattie - and after all why should it be when one of our best players (Faddy) rarely gets 90 mins or anything like it.
