Does wanyone know of a website where you can check out train timetables for Trieste to Llubjana?

Marky,
Check out TRENITALIA. There are only 2 trains a day and 1 of them is at 3am. Plenty of trains from a place called Monfalcone which is closer to the airport (Trieste) than Trieste city. I didn't realise this at the time of booking and am staying in a hotel right next to the train station in the city centre. There are however, plenty of buses from Trieste to Ljubljana. I can recommend Trieste, it's a really nice city.

Ryanair was £108 each from Stan to Trieste.
Planning to get a train to loonyannna and get the WESTA bus to and from the game.

check out www.bit-center.net. Not sure if they've got any availability left as we booked ages ago. It's about 3 km away from the town centre but it's really cheap. Failing that Helen Donegan on the TAMB seems to have block booked large swathes of accommodation which she swears she's giving to TA at cost and not making any mark up on it. |

Mark,
Try Onlinebookinghotel.com. We booked through that but had enormous difficulty in getting a city centre hotel. City hotel almost right beside train station. This was at the start of August before we went to Bulgaria so god knows what it will be like now.
STILL LOOKING FOR A TICKET!!!
Anyone got a spare?
