West Of Scotland Tartan Army
4 January 2006
Dear WESTA Member or Friend,
The WESTA BURNS SUPPER 2006
Oran Mor, Byres Road / Great Western Road, Glasgow
Friday 3 February 7.p.m. for 7.30.p.m. – Carriages 1.a.m
Dress - Black Tie or Highland attire.
Happy New Year.
On behalf of the WESTA Committee, I am delighted to advise that our annual Burns Supper will be held in Scotland’s premier venue ORAN MOR on Friday 3 February with a 7.30.p.m. prompt start. Exclusive entrance from Gt Western Road.
A magnificent evenings entertainment, with both traditional and modern adaptations of the work of Burns through verse and song followed by modern music to the early hours, has been arranged.
A full schedule of events has been prepared with traditional three-course meal accompanied by complimentary drinks from our sponsors. A number of special guests will be in attendance and a large turnout of members and friends is expected.
Oran Mor is a truly fantastic setting and there is no doubt that this will be a night to remember. We are equally as pleased to advise that we have been able to secure discounts and subsidise the event, to offer tickets to members for only 15 and to non-members for 25 (with WESTA membership at 12 it makes sense for non members to join the club when buying tickets). Corporate packages are also available.
Tables are set in seating of ten – if you want to secure a full table please advise immediately – several tables are already gone! For tickets please contact Jennifer Blackwood, the details are below.
We wish members to have the first opportunity of tickets so please respond immediately to Jen – we have friends from throughout the country asking for tickets to what will be one of the Tartan Army nights of the year.
With very best wishes for 2006
Jim Brown
Chairman
Tickets available from – Jennifer.blackwood@btopenworld.com
Or by post to - 125 Queensby Road, Baillieston, Glasgow, G69 6PS.
