Well folks what can i say? Firstly can i echo Chairman Broon's comments and say a huge thanks to everyone involved in any way in organising such a graet night in magnificent surroundings!
Right next up. Humble apologies to everyone i offended and there must have been a few. I blame Don from Grimbsy who not satisfied with sharing as many miniatures as he could with me, finished the sponsors bottle on the table with a very small help from Pauline's father. Still not content and with the W & M kicking in, allied to the mixture of lager and wine a recipe for disaster was now waiting to happen and was indeed imminent. Having acquired the sponsors bottle of whisky from Craigie Broon's table we got three quarters of the way through it and the next thing i remember is getting up the next morning to watch the Dons crash out of the cup. Now on saying cheerio to Susan and saying, "I'm off to the footy are you ok?" i immediately knew something was seriously wrong when she replied, "Yes but you wont be when I'm finished with you". Yes folks the only Taxi For Harper that Harper got was one with flashing blue lights. Apparently having been helped out of the Oran Mor i promptly fell on the pavement and had to be assisted to my feet. On falling backwards for a second fall i 'm told i banged my head on the pavement with such force that "somebody" called an ambulance. The police arrived before the ambulance and the next thing I"m in the back of the ambulance having my blood pressure taken before being whisked off to casualty. Susan has never been so mortified in all her life. Thank goodness she has only just started coming on trips and hasn't (AND WONT) hear about previous escapades. As i said I was in Edinburgh for the Dons cup game and typically for Embra was only there for half an hour before Lothian and Borders finest decided to invoke their Section 60 powers on me. So far this this sad sorry episode has cost me a meal, flowers, perfume and chocolates in order to get back in Susan's good books. Worringly, i have no flashbacks of any hospital visit and can only hope Susan is not taking advantage of me and draining me of money in order to prevent me travelling to future trips. Anyway guys a sincere apology to you all and if anyone ever sees me near whisky again, don't be daft, TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME.

Ha Ha Ha
So you have no recollection of visiting hospital...........I would suggest that there are certain European countries that you have no recollection of visiting.............
You have no reason to apologise and remember the motto "What happens away, stays away" so Susan will hear nothing from me and that will not cost you chocolates, flowers or even perfume..........just a couple of pints !!

You were not the only casualty as Billy Biggar had a roundabout and circutues (canny spell) route home also. But I will leave him to tell you himself Neil as it may make you feel better.
