Well whit did you make of that? A bit of a mixed bag for me. I think we need to jazz FOS up a bit and do something to help keep everyone in time but I'm not sure these guys are the way to go. The sound system at Hampden is a shambles though and four verses was way too long. A decent stab at finally getting it right though. Taylor looks set to let them loose again for Faroes/Lithu matches but I'm not sure. What does everyone else think?

I have to admit that standing in the middle of the North Stand with deafening singing all around me I did not even notice that they were singing in an operatic style.
I know people may suspect that this was down to too many beers before hand but I can honestly say I was at my pre match soberest for many a game and was in the stadium a full 15 mins before kick off.

I'm with you on this one Marky. I wouldn't say that I was completely sober but I was also in the middle of the North Stand and could only hear the thousands around me, nothing from the "Three Tenors".
I vote for the "Three Tenors" AND a "Bouncing Ball" on the scoreboards to keep everyone in time...whatever was going on, with the comments coming from the German players we scared them sh**less.
Over here, the Germans are all an bit quiet - paricularly after the Faroes result last night, one of the guys an Eintracht fan said...and please feel free to add your own German accent "Jeem zis mornig I Kannot zook zoo in zee eye" well that's how it sounded.

Ah've changed ma mind. The new anthem should be 'We have a dream' with John Gordon Sinclair and big Joe Jordan leading the singing. Come to think of it how come they never play that over the p/a at Hampden anyhow? Either that or the Proclaimers doing a rockin F O S.
