Scotland’s Euro 2008 qualifying campaign will begin at Celtic Park in Glasgow for the match against the Faroe Islands, the Scottish FA can confirm today.
The match on Saturday, 2 September, cannot be played at the National Stadium, Hampden Park, because of a concert, and the SFA has carefully examined the alternatives before deciding that Celtic Park would be the most suitable venue.
Tickets for Scotland v the Faroe Islands, which kicks off at 3.00 pm, will be priced attractively at £15 and £18 for most adult tickets, while family section seats are just £10 for adults and £5 for accompanied children. Members of the Scotland Supporters Club will be sent full details by the end of June, and the tickets will go on public sale in August.

Alrite Jaiser! The oak and the vaults (springfield rd) are decent but fairly typical east end boozers i.e. a bit rough. They'll be mobbed anyway mate, probably better to go for a bevvy in the city maybe round the gallowgate or merchant city then cab it or hoof it to Paradise! ;D
