Bobby Shearer died this week , captain of a great Rangers team including Baxter, Henderson , Caldow Davie Wilson and a few other Scotland greats.
He was capped 4 times playing against England 2- 0 , Rep of Ireland twice 4 - 0 & 3 - 0 and losing 4 - 0 to a great Czechoslovakian team.
The most important of those games was the victory over the Auld Enemy , the first home win for 25 years.
A game so momentous that grown men cried.
A personal note was seeing Bobby in Lisbon for the 1978 Euro qualifier, fully respelendent in his kilt.
A good player and a Scotland fan.
