The WESTA annual Player of The Year event is fast approaching, with a fantastic meal arranged, entertaining speakers, folk band and disco it is sure to be another fun filled WESTA night.
Members, friends Old and New are encouraged to contact Jen to secure your tickets (and help us get the table plan right)

Glenn's been posting them out this week. You should have them by the weekend but they aren't necessary to get into the party. Just turn up between 7 pm and 7.30 pm...I've got some lovely folk on your table ;D

A good night last night and i even managed to stay sober!!! I would like to thank everyone who was involved in any way at all with organising last night's event. I know a lot of hard work was put in by a number of the WESTA committee and members. Thanks for the time and effort. Willie Young was in my opinion probably one of the most hated referees buit i thought he was brilliant last night. Well done all.

I have just been watching the Tagesschau on ARD and they carried the event live and then extended highlights. Congratulations to Craig Gordon. What a player, he must be kept in Schottland for the next 10 years and we will buy him for Der Bayern and replace unser torwart.

Thanks to all members and their guests who came along on Sunday night.
Willie Young and Bill Leckie provided excellent entertainment and it was great to have Marjory Nimmo back along to a WESTA do
We have received a very complimentary e mail from Derek Kirkwood (SFA Security Advisor) advising that he and his partner Letty thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
