What a fantastic trip to Paris, a great result and a HUGE WESTA turnout.
We travelled by bus, train, plane and automobile, from my arrival on Monday night through to the departure lunch on Thursday I met WESTA members all over Paris.
I was there to meet the WESTA coach on it's arrival on Tuesday afternoon at the hotel and with the exception of a few, who were rather 'tired' everyone was in fine form (Surprisingly so !!). Match day was special with many WESTA members meeting near 'The Pylon' and marching to the stadium, picking up others en route. The TA were a credit to the country, the Team made us all proud. After years of absolute sh!t, one game has made it all worthwhile.
We have a long way to go - and we, perhaps more than others, recognise that we should not get carried away but for the moment let's enjoy !!!!!!!!! Come rain or shine WESTA will be there and at the moment it's shining...............
