could any of you good folk keep me right on what to wear to the burns night. Is it a strictly black tie affair, or can i get away with a nice suit? Just so i know if i have to hire a tuxedo. ta

It's black tie - but for Burns Supper that means either the full Prince charlie kilt outfit or a kilt with a ghillie shirt. There won't be many tuxedos or suits making an appearance.
