Lads
The St Galmier TA have challenged us to a 7 a side game next Friday night.
We may perhaps put up a small trophy which we could challenge them for again in France next year. (Just a thought)

The challenge match has been arranged.
WESTA v St Galmier 5 A Sides (le Championat!)
Venue - Power league, Townhead
Kick Off - 6.30 to 7.30
Referee - Mr Drew Lilley
WESTA Manager - Mark Adams (if thats ok wi Glenn)
St Galmier Manager - Didier Martinet
The Prize - To Be Confirmed...............................
Would the WESTA guys and others please let me know their availability.

Th extraordinarily poor response to this challenge means that we will either need to cancel or open it up to other TA.

Mark,
Had i known about this earlier i could have cancelled prior engagements and i would certainly have been there. A weeks notice is a bit poor i think. Why was there no mention of it at the WESTA meeting the Sunday before?

Neil, get things into perspective, a weeks notice is more than sufficient for a one hour game of 5 a sides.
We are hardly calling out the peace core!

Mark i have no wish to get into a public slanging match but with the response you have had, or rather not had then i would hazard a guess that a week's notice is not enough.
