A total disaster - bus was meant to pick me up at the truck stop in Lesmahagow. Remember Christopher Robin - they were from birmingham and arranged all the travel to euro 96 - twa*s.
Bus was an hour late and broke down at the truck stop. Arranged with a few others to hire a mini bus to the holland match. 17 of us small guys in a 12 seater. Driving at break neck speed we arrived 20 minutes before kick off. Just outside birmingham there was amassive traffic jam and then the traffic police stopped us and gave us an escort to the ground.
Nae booze though.
Somebody from CR met us and gave us all a tenner each.
I had booked for the other 2 trips and one was to london for 4 days every one was a disaster and they totally ignored all letters of correspondance. I will tell you later about them.
Few years later read that those newcastle fans had been left high and dry by the same company.
