My sister and I left Ayr, Friday at 2.35 in a blue Mondeo. At Holmston roundabout we picked up a lad from Maybole. He was going to Carlisle and then by bus. He was a character and had been on the bus ' Auld Reekie ' that had gone from Maybole to Spain for the 82 World Cup. A double decker. Brilliant.
He was however mad as a hatter.
On dropping him off I asked as to his luggage.
All he had was 24 cans of lager and a bag of Ayrshire Tattties!!!!!!!!!!!!
