Me thinks that it is over 20 years since I took a bus trip up to Park gardens to arrange tickets for a home game and asked to meet Miss Nimmo! She greeted me and my brother with a smile, a laugh and a solemn promise to look after us forever. Well twenty years plus must now seem like forever and she's off. Many thanks Marjory.. All you WESTA kids should have been in my seat at the Burns night and seen all your faces! I had been in shock since she phoned me on the Sat morning and I had to kind of plan how to do the Burns supper and then tell you. I cast my mind back to Wembley 96 and my seat front row courtesy of Marjory. I had posted the tickets top my brother. Stupid idea and she agreed. Meeting her abroad, or rather gaining 90 seconds audience after queuing, always courteous and asking after the health of my sister or a distant relative who just had had their birthday. A game was not official until you had been waved to by Marjory. David Watson reckoned that Travel Clubbers used to wander the streets around SFA HQ just to bump into her. Please add your stories or memories.

This was the news we were all dreading!!
Marjory is a lovely woman and always has a nice word to say even when she is 'often' being harassed by drunken Scotsman.
The STC and away trips will not be the same without her.
Thanks for all your hard work Marjory.

I have experienced the harassment from the odd drunk man on trips. What a lucky girl I am, I hear you all say!!
I will be going to Kilmarnock on Saturday to cheer on Aberdeen's bogey team. Will the Kilmarnock fans be as hospitable as the Jags fans were in The Strathmore (the sandwiches I mean)?

aye janis but I hope harrasment from men on away trips doesn't involve yer brother in law wondering who your strange secretive text messages are from!!
Auntie marj sent through some great merchandise today as a present for yer wee nephew. Signed photos of the squad and badges, keyrings etc telling him how pleased she is that he's been born into such a lovely family. Obviously she means the Emslie side and not the Murrays!!
anyway drunk men, feel free to harras janis in lithuania so's her faither and my good self can get guttered!!
;D

They might pass for sandwiches in your house but not mine.
You can get a quality pint and Killie Pie in the Park Hotel Bar before the game same as the rest of us.
a bargain at only £2.95.

Right Emslie
My text messages are my business.
The Murray's are 10 times better than the Emslie's and Cameron knows he is a Murray.
You and my father are more than welcome to get guttered in Lithuania - you'll just cramp my style otherwise!!
Mark
I don't drink pints - what use is that offer to me??
See you all at the game

I sent Marjory a personal e mail just before she left and true to form and just like the wonderful woman she is, she not only sent a reply to the mail but also 'phoned.
Says it all really !!
