On this subject – our esteemed fitba manager Dario Walker is again willing to look after WESTA’s finest this year, there is no truth in the rumour that I am in negotiation with Chelski re his transfer fee to replace Scolari……..
Calling all fitba players (and WESTA members) although Dario will argue that “we’re in it to win it” and all that motivational stuff – the TA 11’s are all about having a good time with our fellow TA Clubs (and you had better win, take nae prisoners) This year I am looking for not only a good squad of parti cipants (that’s players) but also a good support from those who are not playing. I am looking to make a day of it, wherever we may be.
But firstly, if you are looking for a game send your details to Dario at the e mail address below – doesn’t matter if you haven’t played for the club before, Dario will do everything he can to get everyone who wants to involved – Two Rules – (1) You MUST be a WESTA member and (2) You MUST be a member of SSC – cards will be checked, therefore Nae Ringers. Get your names down otherwise I’ll need to come out of fitba retirement – and I retired twenty years and three stone ago
Send a mail to the Westafitbameister at
dariowalker@yahoo.com
Cheers

To coincide with the beliefs of the national sides current regime we will not be playing meaningless friendlies.
I mean who actually wanted to be in Maryhill at 930am on a Sunday anyway?!
We are now having a get-together/training session this Sunday instead. (7 asides at a local venue)
After a slow start numbers have started to pick up...
But if anyone else is interested please make yourself known.
Venue and time of our home tie V HTA on 22nd to be confirmed in a few days
Cheers Andy
