Pre-match in the Iron Horse was excellent. The Irish lads added to the mayhem.

Game bloody awful. Gallacher's save, Gemmill's willingness, Cameron's willingness and Devlin's great performance were the only highlights for me. I thought Devlin thoroughly deserved his MOTM award.

After-match in the Iron Horse again was excellent after a slow start. The Irish and Scottish enjoyed the Australian theme night. Well done Tam!

The Garage after the pub also very good and the Irish boys in the company loved the whole day so much they want to come back over for our game with the Germans in June.

Where exactly is the Iron Horse? Sounds like my kinda place. What about those weegie muppets in the Ireland end, I was embarrassed, being a Hoops fan myself. Some of the `outraged` huns in our end weren`t much better. I only hope that their bigoted bile didn`t put a damper on the Irish lads doing what they do nearly as well as us (having a good time). I agree with all your highlights Janis but it was also nice to see Hutchison back again. I thought he did ok considering how little football he has played. Anyone else think that Lambert\Ferguson together doesn`t work? Cheers, Slasher. PS we`ll still gub Iceland\Lithuania, well 1-0 at least.

Thanks for your kind words Janis.......although you should have come back to my party instead of bailing out at 4.30am!!!!
The 6` leprauchan, Taffy, me and a young Edinburgh lady all ended up drinking Absinthe and Glenmorangie in my flat!! I went to bed at 6.30am only to be woken up an hour later with a certain chubby highlander trying to cuddle me. Back to the Horse for 8.30am [2nd morning running] much to the amazement of the barmaids!!!
