Before I start calling you a Tart
Are you having a build up to the game or are you discussing the global impact of gamma rays upon the seal colonies of the outer Hebrides which are having an adverse impact of the future reproduction capabilities of said seals
C'mon your public want to know!

That particular topic is not on the agenda, however, things can change.
It should be a build up to the day/game as Bill Leckie is dropping by along with 1/2 former players. I am sure that any other topics of the day will be discussed also. I am starring as Tea boy.
Pauline is currently searching for low fat bacon.....

Hi Ruud
Welcome to the WESTA board - all I can say is, may the best team win!! and the fans enjoy the occasion in both Glasgow and Amsterdam.
If you are coming to Scotland, I hope you and your friends have a great time (but not too great) and that we all see a fantastic game of football.
Yours in football

dear tartan army,
i must say that i admire the stamina and the courage of the scottish players throughout the years.....but lets be honest you lthere is a lack of quality in ur squad (must say that we are a bit afraid of fletcher though) we, the dutch, have starplayers but no real coherent team. but this the last change for players as -de boer (galatasaray) -davids (juventus) -cocu (barcelona) -overmars (barcalona) it will probably be 0-1 and 3-1 ....but if you manage to draw or win teh first game you will a change. but then again probably not (i am a great football-fan but cant even remember 3 players from your squad)
by the way why do you always mention archie gemill in 1978? u had to win with 4 more goals back then to get throught the second phase. when he scored it was only 3-1!!!!! as if you really had a chance back then....we were just convinced that we were through already....(i was only 4 years at the time haha) p.s.: watch van der vaart en sneijder those players will be HUGEEEE!!

ehhhhhh ..... Ruud, I think you'll find that in '78 we only needed one more goal after wee Archie's screamer, so we obviously did have a chance!
Hope you enjoy the two matches anyway.
Hoop, hoop!! (as Theo Snelders used to say)

about `78.......... wel you did have a chance but a very slim one wouldnt you say??
anyway because of all the commotion about the play-offs we see that goal very often on the television in holland. rob rensenbrink (one of those many great dutch starplayers as we have 11 of them tommorow ;D) said in a interview that he never ever was scared that the dutch squad would lose to scotland with more then 2 goals....he didnt understand the commotion.
tell me honestly what will the score be tommorow?? here in holland we are a bit scared of the atmosphere in hampden but me (van nistelrooy haha) and kluivert are as sharp as a knife!!!!
enjoy the game tommorow and always look at the bright side of life when the game is done!!!

:Dall names and no heart, the only way to describe the Dutch, Scotland rose on Satuaday and chest puffed gave their all, make you proud to be a Scotsman. Hopefully now the Dutch/and English will stop tagging scotland as having no star players. Fletch, wee James, liitle Jackie, Bazza,Ginger Pearson (11 english teams at last count after him), Wilkie, Pressley, Big Rab, Dailly(Patrick who?), Naysmith, Dickov, Miller, Don, you boys are going down in folklore mark my words. 1-1 in Amsterdam, will be the party to match all parties COME ON!!. And if any Dutchman out there can justify why Davids, De Boer and Kluivart are so called star names then ill eat my hat
