I can exclusively reveal that the Daily Mirror managed to smuggle some journalists into the Scotland camp on Wednesday. Posing as internationalists they somehow appeared on the pitch wearing white strips and it was 13 minutes into the game before Bertie noticed and 14 before the Dutch. The Mirror was delighted in exposing the lack of ' a clue ' in the Scotland camp and have since been contacted by Aberdeen wishing to sign the entire defence. Commented Steve Patterson ' I was really impressed in that although the journalists were wearing wellies they still did really well! Lets face it 6 - 0 , not bad going!! '. The Daily Mirror also revealed that the WESTA Player of the Year Award was facing a real crisis. The plan to award the winner of the Fitba card a 2 week holiday in the Algarve next June was in danger of collapsing. They had acquired jersey signed by Big Rab. He unfortunatley dropped it in a puddle, twice. The cunning plan to raffle it at £10.00 a ticket looks a bit of a long shot.
